With stages ranging in size from 2,000 to 56,500 sq ft., we are sure to have a stage that is the right size and with the right features for your next production. In addition to regular stages, we offer a dedicated 2000 sq. ft. Chroma Key Studio, with a 70' three wall hard cyc, that is ideal for CGI productions. For feature cover sets we offer a 178'000 sq. ft. production facility with a 56,500 sq ft. Main Stage Floor, 8,000 sq ft. of production offices, and unfinished warehouse space.

Green Screen Studio

40' x 60' with 70' 3-Wall Hard Cyc

70' Three Wall Hard Cyc is ideal for 180 degree dolly or steadicam moves.


Our Chroma Key Studio offers features not found elswhere that make it ideal for complicatated CGI productions. The 40'x60' dimensions of our Chroma Key Studio is an optimum size for CGI shoots. Unlike smaller studios, it enables you to separate the lighting for the background from the lighting for the talent in the foreground; so that the lighting on your talent does not have to be flat in order to get a good key. The high 17.5' grid height enables you to hang, without dipping into your shot, the large 6kw Space Lights that are the preferred approach to creating a base key level.

Our 70 ft. three wall hard cyc simply gives you more working room, than a one or two wall cyc, before you shoot off the background. With a third cyc wall you will probably not have to cheat camera angels, or reset talent and lighting, when you punch in for cross cutting closeups - which can be a real time savings. The third cyc wall also enables you to do 180 degree dolly or steadycam moves. The extensive acoustical treatment of our studio will give you a clean audio track without the reverb of a large, mostly empty, studio. Finally, where our studio's default color is chroma key green there is no fee to paint our studio's three cyc walls, or an additional fee for power. Cover Sets are an essential part of keeping a production on schedule and on budget. ScreenLight & Grip represents one of the premier production facilities in the region for production on cover sets - KAY Studios' Stage One. Conveniently located between Boston and Providence in Foxboro, Ma, the 178,000 sq. ft. facility offers an approximately 56,500 Sq. Ft. Stage Floor w/ drive-in access. Clearance is 30-35' with 50'x 25' Clear Span Bays. AC ducting (at 30') and acoustical treatment is pre-installed. Adjacent to the main stage are approximately 8,000 Sq. Ft. of air conditioned production offices, wardrobe & makeup rooms, restrooms, dining area, and flex space featuring phone and high speed internet hookups. A 800 Sq. Ft. food prep/service area includes a food service counter with bar tap and restaurant style kitchen. Also adjacent to the main stage is approximately 79'500 Sq. Ft. of raw warehouse space, with a thirteen-bay loading dock, that can be used for equipment and prop staging, set shop, etc. The facility is just minutes off Interstate 95 and conveniently located to the first class hotel accommodations and restaurants at the new Patriot Place at Gilette Stadium.

Chimera 5'x10' F2 Soft Box.............$125.00

The ultimate key light, or reflected product highlight, our Chimera 5'x10' F2 Soft Box is ready and waiting - already built so that its goes up quickly. It can be lamped with hot quartz lights or strobes and is more easily controlled than any other large soft source.

Set Elements and Decking

Office, Library, Dining/Living Room Set Elements

Set elements are modular in design and come in two styles. One style features grand architectural detailing (Click for Photos ) and can feature a built-in bookcase and/or fireplace. The windows have divided lights (6 over 6) and are recessed with a large sill and paneling on the sides and top. The other style features more modest colonial architectural detailing. The windows have divided lights (12 over 12) and are flush to the wall with simple window molding.

A complete set consists of:

We can provide decking for studio risers that can be configured any number of ways.

ScreenLight & Grip can crew your studio or location production. If you book crew, rent the equipment they use, and pay them on a 1099 basis, you are probably in violation of the new IRS employee classifications. We can protect you from the IRS.
