For maximum sound insulation the studio employs double doors. One layer is a pair of swing doors with a second layer of a garage style rollup door. Note the AC ducting above the door to the right. This entry foyer serves as a prop and equipment storage area, but from an acoustical design standpoint it serves as a sound lock chamber that captures sound from the outside.
