For maximum sound insulation the studio employs double doors. One layer is a pair of swing doors with a second layer of a garage style rollup door. Note the AC ducting above the door to the right. AC duct is place behind sheet rock walls to isolate any vibration noise created by the air ducting.

The view from the roll up door to the outside towards the studio. This entry foyer serves as a prop and equipment storage area, but from an acoustical design standpoint it serves as a sound lock chamber that captures sound from the outside.

The ceiling and everything square inch of the walls over 5' (except for the cyc walls) is covered with a heavy layer of spray on insulation to deaden the studio.
